PJ LOMBARDO
I Will Flush Time’s Worms Out of My Blood in Waves of Soft Idiocy
Dallying on laziest easel
I loll my tongue down every face
beloved
demandless
You level cities
To their slackest perennials
& your moan bores a hole in the hole of my skull
Everywhere we stomp Specters trumpet
everywhere
faster
faster faster everywhere
Forever is a lung where there is always breath enough
ALL MY LONGINGS LIE
like dead light on a made bed
Or inexhaustible drafts from some mindless star
Poems soprano
hungry & away from me
In the muggy may-war
I spot ponies
Bucking their wounded vertebrae
Pulsing
Sunburnt
You wrench the memory from its apartment
